Crystal Palace (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Given the players available and the fact we went behind twice that was a well earned point

Agreed. We made some defensive mistakes, mostly Walker, but we played well in attack.

The injury crisis in defence makes it impossible for us to compete for the title. The fit players are being overplayed, make mistakes (Gvardiol, Bernardo) or have injury problems in their turn (Akanji). Without Rodri we are a bit soft in CM and a bit too open to counters.

Been to see us at Croydon many times in 80s and 90s never remember seeing us win. Mainly draws, I regard a 2 2 draw twice coming from behind as a point won. Wish many of our fan base would lose their sense of entitlement and enjoy what we have. An away point is always good, I'm happy tonight just off to Spoons.

It's time to suck it up and get behind the team.
We're ravaged by Injuries, players playing more minutes without rest, we're in a bad run of form.
We haven't got a magic wand that we can wave and suddenly make it all better.
We need personnel back, we need new players, we need to fight and scrape our way back into form.
We've been blessed in recent years and right now we're struggling.
This is the time we need to get behind the boys.
Absolutely bang on.

Sort of expected that result today as soon as I saw the line up.
Rico Lewis is simply fucking not good enough for the levels we expect as a club. Squad player at best
Gundo returning was a bad move however he will always be a legend.
Kyle Walker needs to be moved on asap. Absolute gash defending. Not tracking a runner on a corner is really bad.
Nunes. Shite.
Cups and top 4 now
What about Savinho ? He’s been beyond bad since we signed him.

I think with the Lewis challenge it was rash and gave the ref the opportunity to book him but fook me Keown is nauseating talking about our apparent downfall..
