Crystal Palace (A) | Post-Match Thread

This first half, second half contrast is interesting as we keep seeing it. I think it is about game management for the season. First half, pass the ball around though not at top speed and prioritise not giving the ball away and not conceding. Don't worry if they score one. Blitz them in the second half. So, 50% less energy used up and in the bank for 3 days later. Didn't work perfectly today as we did give the ball away too much in first half but over the season, especially since December, its worked brilliantly. Also, takes into account that if opponents score one, there is no crowd there to spur them on to another.
 
That way Sergio says 'no?' at the end of his sentences is adorable. How I'll miss him.
 
Considering the amount of changes we made it was never going to be a fast start.. We were a bit slow in 1st half but 2nd half we upped it and always looked like we were going to win.
Great finish from Kun.. Definitely going to miss him..
Tidy finish from Torres as well..
Laporte Fern and Rod looked class.
Hopefully rags and dippers draw tomorrow with a few red cards and some nasty challenges too.

I thought it was a strange decision to bring Zinchenko on for Fernandinho. It possibly suggests we might be going with 2 DMs against PSG. I hope not.
