I thought that Mendy was decent today.

That's why I posted what I did.
His injuries have affected him not just physically but also mentally. It's a tough road back from the run of injuries that he's had. When he first arrived, he showed why we had bought him and then he started getting recurring injuries which affected his game and knocked his confidence. He's showing signs of improvement and if we keep the faith with him I think he'll get back to the player originally was.
He's only 26, he's got a good 5 years in him yet.
He'll be like a new signing.
