Mendy set the first goal up. Whatever his shortcomings defensively he was effective going forward. I thought he was close to MOTM.Job done. Coasted really. Torres much better. Mendy sadly much the same as previous outings. Sterling worked really hard. Maybe trying too hard. What a strike from Sergio I am going to so miss that guy. Cancelo played better as well, that guy is an utter magician with a football. I just wish he didn’t give the ball away quite as much as he does. Ake solid. The last comment, Fernandinho a couple of days away from being 36 he is a masterful footballer.
At the risk of death threats, I'm going to stick my neck out and say that even Mendy will come good eventually.
He needs to remain injury free and get a run of games.
