Crystal Palace (A) | Post Match Thread

No subs is just fucking weird. Havent a clue what hes trying to prove with that. Bernardo wasnt on it at all. Why no gundo? Foden false 9 against teams that sit really deep and just pack the area doesnt work. Why no jesus.

yes we should have been 2 up at half time but we had no fucking clue second half and no changes just doesnt make sense.

big lift for the dippers. We‘re definitely struggling at the moment. no striker is going to hurt us.

Dippers, hate to say it have finishers in front of goal we really lack that. I wish we still had Sergio.

We knew that in the summer and decided to spend £100 million of Jack Grealish rather than sign a striker.

We’ve no one to blame than ourselves for that.

It’s not like the writing wasn’t on the wall either. The fact Gundogan was our top scorer is pathetic with the forward players in this side.

Time to sit on this thread and watch the bed wetters emerge….

any other day and we win that 3-0 it just wasn’t to be. Regardless of what happens on Wednesday it’s in our hands still. This is football at the highest level if you wanna watch a cake walk to the title every season go watch bayern Munich zzzzzz.

I don’t doubt Pep and this team. Bring it on.

Would have obviously preferred the win but tonight not end of the world. This is not the German or French one horse league. Palace are on a good run and are hard to beat. We had our chances but our players are not machines. We kept going but it’s wasn’t our night.
The only irritant was the Sky team willing Palace on but we don’t play in red so hey ho.

I would love for someone to check who the #1 player in the league in terms of shots blocked by defenders is because it has to be grealish by a country mile

I'd like to see who the #1 player is in the league for setting up chances for his teammates to miss. I'm guessing Jack is right up there pal.

We've done well to win trophies without a proven striker for a couple of years it it's starting to catch up with us now. The squad is starting to look stale and predictable. It badly needs freshening up in the summer. If.....and I must admit it's a bloody big if Liverpool lose on Wednesday it will be seen as a great point. The problem is we have a similar game like this; n Wolves away where I can see a similar result or worse. Both Liverpool and our teams are evenly matched but their forwards are better and this may prove the tipping point.
