First game I was actually glad the stewards were blocking my view
I actually thought that Pep was conceding defeat and saving legs for Wednesday. When I saw Sterling & Mahrez coming, I knew they will add nothing.
I get what you mean, we need something different, more energy, against teams good enough to low block for a whole match and as pep always says the same players can’t play week in week out. For that reason I think - hope - the loss to West Ham will prove to be a blessing. Let’s see what next Saturday brings.
At the moment i have to agree but hope he proves me wrong. If we had lost Bernardo in the summer for Grealish I would have been devastated. Fingers crossed Grealish is just taking time to settle just like others in the past. Please stop starting Grealish. He offers fuck all
We might have lost against Burnley had Cornet stayed on. They were causing us trouble on the break until Dyche wrongly hooked him.Not good enough that.
We can’t just rely on Rodri and Bernardo to play well and win the game for us every week… Cancelo Laporte deBruyne Grealish Foden we’re simply nowhere near good enough, and the same ones who played against Burnley were all just as bad that day (Grealish didn’t play that one but has also been average as it gets in other games).
These midtable teams are far too good now to play so poorly and expect to win. We got away with it with Burnley but we were just as poor against them as we were Southampton and today.
Viera clearly targeted him and Laporte todayIs it only me that thinks he is too slow?
That's what I can't get my head around. We can’t just rely on Rodri and Bernardo to play well and win the game for us every week… Cancelo Laporte deBruyne Grealish Foden we’re simply nowhere near good enough
Pep doesn't seem that arsed about the result in his post match interview. Everything must be fine and dandy down at the training complex.
Not great, but better than the tears!Any bullshit from Pep yet about it being a good performance, so so happy etc
