Part of the problem is that we allow teams to muster on the 18, meaning there is insufficient room to carve them open. Rather than complaining about having too few of our own in the box, we need to address the problem, largely of our own making, of allowing the opposition to have too many of their own in there, all ready and waiting. Our midfielders and full-backs are too prone to pirouetting, retaining possession at the expense of creating chances, and this allows the opposition to regroup. Might be worthwhile playing two up for this one and risking it.
