For the love of God Pep...please dont play the inverted wing backs against Saha etc.

Honestly that system yesterday was suicide.

We literally had Bernado stuck out wide with Foden for long periods, Walker in midfield.Time and time again we were left exposed.

He should have changed that system after Newcastle 2nd goal.

Was the only reason Newcastle got a point yesterday because we were all over the place tactically in midfield and at the back.Making St Maximas look like a great player.

Would like to see Alvarez get a few minutes as well.

Why the fuck our defenders don't engage the attacker early instead of backing off is a mystery. All stones needed to do yesterday was put in a tackle just inside our half. Win the ball or foul him, no difference either way.

Hence why we shouldn't leave them exposed against players with pace.

Just like Newcastle,Palace play on a quick Counter with Saha.

We dont need a repeat performance of yesterday.

Bernado plays better in the middle.
 
Hope Foden puts his passing boots on. Last chance saloon with that.

Always a way.. if you know you know. Do we need to go out and buy a defensive back up?We’re very short on the ground at the moment. Palace will be a very tricky test against the champions. Newcastle was exciting football and this one will be no exception
 
Pep knows exactly how they will play - as many behind the ball as possible and Zaha on the break. That's the only threat. If Pep let's them them do us in the way they easily did Liverpool several times last week, there'll be a groundful of moaning minnies. Hopefully, his plan A will work and get us in front, as thumping Palace is long overdue.
I think we'll be far too good for them going forward, and like I have in the last few games against them, I'm going for a win - we can't slip up against them again, can we?
4-1 for City, and that will be a great return from the 1st 4 games, if we can get it.

He’s done that to push KDB and Gundogan closer to Haaland to be able to thread more balls through.

We scored 3 away from home and could have had more.

I think Stones might need the minutes to get rid of the rust. But he always gets bloody injured in pointless matches.

I believe this is the way Pep is going to play and as any other system he won't change it. The team have to get better playing it.
 
Got a bad feeling about this one, again the sort of team we'll find hard to contain on the break and they will punish us.

Team wise I'd go: Ederson, Cancelo, Dias, Stones, Gomez, Phillips, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Foden, Gundogan, Haaland
 
Teams are going to hit us on the counter & our defence not convincing at the minute.

I really hope pep comes up with a plan for counter attacks palace, Utd, spurs can hurt us this year if we are not prepared

Hoping they (2 girls and a boy) can get their picture taken with the trophy. Heard City sometimes do that.
