Crystal Palace PL (H) Post match thread

To spend all that money on a world class centre half yet play him at left back seems baffling.

Surely the money for Nunes could’ve been better spent too?
I've seen enough from Pep's teams to know Nunes could still come good. Unfortunately I've seen nothing from Nunes himself. Time will tell.

Injury time penalty conceded today and away at Chelsea .
Bad ref and bad wasted chances vs Spurs.
Own goals/deflections vs Arsenal league and charity shield.
Mistakes or bad luck call it what you will but its definitely stifling our chances of a 4th title in a row

Boos were for the officiating
I don't think the officials were bad.

I think it more likely that some fans are expressing displeasure at our failure to manage even comfortable games to a positive conclusion recently.

It's all on Pep imo. He's probably thinking about the next game before the final whistle has blown on the latest one.

No doubt he'll blame the atmosphere again.

Complacent....you could see it coming......we tried cruising, everyone fans and players just sat back and we got what we deserved.....awful....

We havent dealt with KDB being injured as there is a lack of creativity. Gundo going means no leaderships, goals or creativity....clearly Ppe doesnt think Kovacic or Nunes are ready as he is playing Rico in their place.

Walkers form has fallen off a cliff again...he looks like he is running through wet concrete most of the time....Gvardiol is giving the ball away too much as well
Grealish, despite his goal goes missing for parts of games.

The elephant in the room as well is John Stones...fabulous player BUT if he cant stay fit then how much use is he? He is constantly injured or recovering from injury....

East to blame foden (and he was at fault) but the team is playing very poorly as a whole.... summer transfer window hasnt helped
Foden wasn't at fault for their first.

With capitulations, it’s been one club. Liverpool, Arsenal, us and maybe even Villa / Spurs are competing this time.

I haven't seen the clip but this feels like a poor statement from him. Sure sounds like he's throwing Phil under the bus.

It has taken a number of players a season to adapt to Pep’s way of thinking.

I was a huge Gundogan fan. Even before he joined City. Seemed a great man too.

He did the same during the CL, PL and FA final.
