Pulis is a decent manager. Can really see them staying up.

Hopefully. He really is doing a great job. On paper we have by far the worse squad in the league. Today was probably the best in terms of atmosphere for a while. I guess we dominated the first half even if possession was about 50/50. Played some nice stuff with Jedinak the best player on the pitch, but with Chamakh on top we lacked any creativity. Second half Puncheon got his goal, which I was happy to see and then we sat back and defended deep. Stoke put us under lots of pressure, but never had any chances really. Instead Butland had to make a lot of good saves to keep them in it. A great result and a very valuable 3 points. Another big game coming up against Hull after the cup. Results did not really go our way today except for West Ham losing.

Guys how was Guidetti's game with stoke?\

Any news?

Came on with 10 or so to go. Did not really do much. Had a few nice touches, but Stoke were mainly hitting it long into the box. Movement looked decent, but impossible to say anything from such a small cameo.

To be fair to Pulis he's not signed anyone and most of them are dross.

To be fair to Pulis he's not signed anyone and most of them are dross.

To be fair to Pulis for the vast majority of his time as Stoke manager they spent a lot more and signed a lot more than the teams around them in the table and he was moaning then too....

A misleading stat, because a lot of those players are under21 and from the youth team. As for the money we wasted in the summer that is not Pulis' fault. Holloway went crazy and had a scatter gun approach to buying any player available without thinking where they would fit. Most of them will be gone by next season. Even then we hardly anything compared to Cardiff and Hull, whilst actually selling a player for around 15 million.

Now we only have a squad of about 16/17 players the manager trust.
