CSKA Moscow v City - Post match discussion

Wonderful performance on an atrocious surface in a difficult environment. How far this club has come is only matched by how far it is going.

2-1 away from home in Moscow in the Champions league yet some still moan???

Fucking cracking result and job well done from all the lads.

i dont think some of you moaners realise how bad that pitch was we couldn't get our passing game going would of blown them away on a decent pitch.

Big issue for me arising out of that game wasn't Edin, who is clearly ranked as a sub at best & who may well go in Jan, but was powder puff Navas ; in a word disappointing and in a few more: not good enough for us

I'm glad others have noticed it.

Very quick and good with his feet, but definitely too lightweight.

Don't forget Silva wasn't world class until his second season. Give him more than 10 matches before judging him properly. He was world class against United.

Phew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's never easy for any club to go to Russia and win, sure it was nervy at times but still lets all celebrate a great night for the club, remember in a way CSKA had nothing to lose really, so they could afford to go for it, I know Garcia is a bit of a liability at times.

Right here is the serious bit

Can the Dzeko fan boys just give it rest please, or you will be going the way of the others!

Final Warning, we support City as a team and a club not just one player

Negredo had the assist on Aguero's second goal though. Plus he didn't miss 2 sitters from 2 feet from goal that missed the net by 10 yards. He held up the ball well while Dzeko didn't.

and had 2 shocking passes to kun aswell lets not forget since we are all in this petty bitching party.

Does that make Dzeko's contribution any better?

It does to his fan boys!!

na just making sure people dont forget it. kinda like how they will never let those 2 misses go till the end of fukin time. people are more worried about point scoring rather then celebrating the win. Since he came on nothing but bitching and moaning from supposed fans of the club slating one player relentlessly pathetic cant be used more then enough when it comes to some posters. and before he was on they where up javis ass (when he actually did a decent job considering the pitch and circumstances)

The difference in commentating later on will be noticable. That was truly a disgrace from Tyler and Quinn. Great save Joe.

Got to me tonight,
gonna have to watch with no sound in future.

Just to add, that's two away wins with our captain and best defender out injured.

All in the same week that Fergie has shown himself to be a treacherous, money grabbing twat. OK so we knew that already.

If we can beat Chelsea on Sunday this will have been a fantastic start to the season.

that was about getting the points nothing else
we won they lost 3 points away from home and 2 home games coming next
job done

Yeah good point, given time, hopefully he'll be Silva Pt 2.

Well my heart !!!! :) happy for the win. Should have buried some chances even thought the pitch is .... ! Dzeko: don't why he cant controls aerial balls !! anyway the way how cska play they will get their a.. Kicked at the etihad where lucky with the pitch tonight

Well done all the players today - any nob that singles out individual players for criticism after that great victory in really difficult conditions can fuck off and go and support the scum or arsenal instead imo

Shocking display...... From our own fans in this thread.. Seriously I keep seeing stuff about our back 4, we def played 3-5-2 which MP was able to get a win from in CL unlike Mancini. Just because you're taller doesn't mean you're going to win every header, it happens, makes me wonder if some have ever played a real game. Garcia wasn't that bad, Navas does look a bit soft but had Negredo not slid in so fast he would have been down for a great assist my only real negative was Dzeko's 2 wasted chances. Not too bothered by the last 10 minutes because that's par for the course when your trying to level. But 3 points away from home on a not so great pitch and 0 injuries is the absolute best outcome. Some of y'all need to get over yourselves with the pettiness. It's CITY TILL I DIE not PETTY TILL I DIE.

Great win by City tonight . I reckon we only after beat CSKA in the return and where through . Great save by Joe Hart tonight . That made up for the mistakes in the Bayern Munich match .
