Re: CSKA Moscow v City (Wednesday 23 October)

To get a visa is not as difficult as everyone thinks. Visit this website Realrussia.co.uk. They are absolutely fantastic. Basically you pay them to sort your visa out for you (go to embassy etc.) a visa can take up to 2 or 3 weeks, so you need to get in touch with the asap.
On their website, they also give lots of advice and they are extremely helpful.

Has anyone managed to find anything out about train times back to central Moscow or found any decent hotels in Khimki

Anyone know what the Visa situation is for people with criminal records?

I've got a caution for Criminal Damage from 2008.

Will this stop me from obtaining a visa?
Do the Russians have access to our criminal records?

Any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks

Was told I wouldn't have anything to worry about , by someone who's recently been there on a tourist visa and has a pretty extensive criminal record. So you should be good. I did see if you take the ferry from Finland into st Petersburg you don't need a visa for 72 hours so that may be an option if you're still worried

What is the worst that can happened. You get detained in the country for lying on your visa, have to drink copious amounts of vodka and bang fit Russian girls till you confess of your sins.

Also, if somebody of you feel booring, you can always kill a bear - in mother Russia they're walking practically on all of the streets - at least, it's the oficcial reason from goverment about our famous traffic prblems

Hi mate, just trying to check those flights - got the easyjet one from Gatwick to Moscow and the Ryanair one from Latvia to Manchester but which flight are you on from Moscow to Latvia? The ones I'm looking at are over a £100
