Has the idea of re-laying the surface been explored?

How does that affect our visas if the match is moved to Krasnodar ? Because your hotel won't be the one you've declared you're staying at and the region / City you're visiting won't be as declared. Could the Russians get a bit arsey and declare your visa invalid?

When you get the visa stamped in your passport nothing else to worry about. You are free to go any city.
As far as I know, passport control and immigration are not bother to check when you exit Russia. They may check only declaration paper (the one you fill up before landing to Russia).
During traveling, Police will not bother if your visa is from any city. And only when you are in trouble they will contact to your sponsor which is your hotel.

From my understanding, when you move to other city you need to have new sponsor and register to police station. When you exit country they will check if you have stamp where you stay every single night.

Edit...
I check up with my friend in Moscow. You need to register you visa within 3 days upon arrival. Your hotel will do for you.
When you move to new city. New hotel will register your visa again. Your visa is valid only need registration by your host.
You better register your visa even you are stay less than 3 days, just to be in safe site and register fee is cheap.

Has anybody who's a company director managed to get a visa? The requirements are a struggle, especially with the timeframe needed. If anybody has got one I'd be interested to know how you did it.

Ive just told them Im an employee of the company that I am actually a director of.
Maybe it's a risk but can't see it being a problem.
I also work form home as well but haven't bothered telling them that has how will they know?
2 out of the 3 of us travelling are company directors so all could go tits up!

You should be fine. The lad I'm going with is registered as self-employed but has been working indefinitely for a limited company under the Construction Industry Scheme. To save a load of hassle, he just put down that he was an employee of the company. He has since received his visa with no questions asked.

@AlexHoliga: Index.hr claim CSKA could host their CL match vs. Viktoria Plzen in Pula, Croatia, as they're having trouble finding a ground in Russia (!?)

Hmmm this might mean we could play there too. Imagine all those Bosnians coming lol

At the same time from the Czech Republic came the shocking news that in Pilsen do not even know the problems with the stadium or where they should travel to visit .

Interfax reports that Muscovites refuge offered Rostov, but nothing goes without the blessing of UEFA. The decision is expected by the end of the day or on Friday morning , according to Russian sources . Here is the proof:-

I'm not sure how this affects us. The situation thus far has been utterly shambolic.

Re: CSKA Moscow v City (Wednesday 23 October)

If the game gets moved City (I know its not there fault) should cover the extra expense for travelling fans as a good will gesture failing that I would maybe pay a 'small surcharge' to cover it on next years S/C.
