For me food wise in a curry house -
Mixed Grill Starters
Karahi dish - with additional spice Chicken, Lamb (pref on bone) or Keema
Veg Chaat
Spicy Cuchumber Salad

never had that ....was it buried in a chum???

Cuchumber is Indian for Salad - Mix of Tomatoes, Onion, Cucumber, Lettace with a spicy dressing (inc chopped chillies)

Anyone got any good recipes? How long do you cook the onions for if using as base
go on youtube checkout julian voigt...curry to go great videos on all thing curry etc
would post a link but cluless

Cook onions until brown - you need to stir to stop burning. Cooking onions well is a core skill in making a good curry.

I've heard people advocate adding turmeric, grating in carrots and even adding soy sauce. Basically, these are attempts to fake the look of properly cooked onions.

There is something deeply satisfying about a glass of wine and a good swear.

I'm guessing you earned both today
