Unlucky mate, just wasn’t your day.
I always have 2 spare inners, spanner and couple of Alum keys in case of emergency and never ever leave with wallet, spare change and phone charged up!!

If I could get a spare tyre with me I would as the side wall blew in mine couple of months ago, brakes had been tubing on the tyre instead of the rim, and needed to get picked up, was a long wait on Cragg Vale in cold weather.
My side wall went too - only realised this yesterday when put new inner tube in and it blew to bits! Continental Force, 2nd time the wall's gone like that. Changed to GP5000 now so hoping for more luck!

Yep, mine are on the house insurance.
I’ve been reading today that some (not saying yours is like this) home insurances only cover the bike when it’s at the home it’s insured for.

Do you know if yours covers you outside the home?

I always carry a multi tool, puncture repair kit, 2 tyre levers and a space blanket in my saddle bag. My mini-pump is attached to my frame. Top tip with pumps: They need to be serviced too. Every now and again you need to dismantle it, give it a wipe out with kitchen paper, and put a light dab of silicone grease on the seals and washers before reassembling. I've learned from experience on this one ;-)

Also, I've seen with people fixing punctures who forget to check the inside of the tyre before they put everything back together, and whatever punctured the tyre in the first place ends up puncturing their new/repaired tube. Luckily, I haven't suffered this indignity.

Another thing to think about is liability claims for, say, crashing into the side of a car and causing £100s of damage. Or knocking someone down. Home insurance might not cover accident damage away from the home either. I used to use ETA cycle insurance which included breakdown recovery for total peace of mind. Was about £70 a year and claiming on it won't rack up next year's home insurance renewal prices. No-brainer for me when I was commuting daily.

Cheers mate, wouldn’t go in there without one tbh, what were the reeds like? First few times I felt them I panicked like fuck.
It took me over 20mins to stop my heart beating like a trip hammer. Very, very different to swimming in the rarified lanes of my gym¨s indoor pool. So fucking deep! No resting place, just swim, swim, swim, but I¨m back there Sunday and will be better for doing the swim yesterday. The water was about 19 Deg C, I had a 1.5mm swim top and standard swimming ¨trunks¨. I have a 3mm wetsuit arriving today. You have to have a brightly coloured swimcap too. It was brilliantly organised. A real mix of swimmers, some very serious tri-athletes, a few just happy to meander around mixing their stroke; I tried to keep front crawl for the full hour but did find myself on my back a couple of times just to get a breather. Well worth six quid. Back on the bike today and judging by some of the posts on here I¨m gonna need at least five spare tyres, ten inners, a set of Campag allan keys and at least 4 pumps!! :-)
