Been advised last night to have a few quid each way on Seabass in the Grand National. Just thought I'd pass it on

I'm already on him each way, hoping Ruby will ride for his old man as Nicholls doesnt have much in the race - although Mullins has 2 that Ruby might like... if Ruby is on Seabass i expect his odds to halve.

Word is Ruby Walsh will ride Quel Esprit apparently he really rates it's chances.

Connections of both of the above horses gave Cheltenham a swerve in favour of AIntree, didn't they?

Seabass best price 20-1, 16 in places. Quel Esprit is as big as 50s.
Junior 12-1, only 10 at the High Street firms. So what's the latest word, markb?

Seabass will more than likely have Katie Walsh on it for the National. Might run into a place but its a big ask. I think McCoy on Schronised must have a chance if it runs. It seems to stay forever and if it jumps well will be there at the end.

Ruby is 90% certain to ride Prince De Beauchane in the National. Quel Esprit will have to brush up on his jumping to get round never mind win. Some fences you can go through the top of and it wont effect a horse but the National fences are on a different level and need to be given respect.
Im on Black Apalachi(50/1) and Synchornised(20/1) so far but will probably back 2 more on the day if these 2 run.

Yeah I think you are correct Niall and I've got my horses mixed up. My neighbour has had Prince De Beauchane at some big prices

the flat season is here,
well it begins today at the mighty curragh.
been told to follow tommy stack(who)
mr OBrien has his best horses working out after the races
will leighton be there in his sunday best?
Ryan moores over to ride one horse...Twirl.
The two year olds and the classic contenders, bring it on.

The most intruiging part of todays racing at the Curragh is the 1st race. We will see the first offspring of Derby hero New Approach. Dawn Approach is 7/4 so maybe not backable for everyone but will be interesting to see how he goes. Dam was a sprinter so looks like there is plenty of speed.
