No issue with the guy choosing where he wants to earn a living and to do so in the best interests of himself and his family. We all do it.

But he needs to keep his mouth shut in front of the media rather than feeding the twats with material to feed their snide anti-City agenda.

Looking at the two people I mentioned, it is quite an odd phenomenon. It isn't just that they maintain the same drive to make money, that I could understand and would just put it down to their personalities. But neither of them were people who were ridiculously driven by money but the more money they have, the greater their desire to have even more money becomes. It seems illogical, you'd think as you got more and more money you'd become more and more satisfied with the amount you have but it seems that it is the complete opposite for some odd reason. It doesn't surprise me at all that footballers do what Alves has done, it doesn't make total sense to most of us but I think vast amounts of money does strange things to people.

The more you make the more you live to that amount. People are made up to buy their own house, nice little area they are happy. They get a pay rise and all of a sudden they want an upgrade, so buy a bigger house, it goes on and on. People from humble backgrounds fear they will suddenly lose it all and go all out to try and ensure it doesn't happen. In Alves case he is just a greedy c**** but at 34 and with maybe only two years good pay day's left you can see why he did it.

Do PSG really need him? I don't know how much of an improvement he is on what they already have. I wonder if it has anything to do with Qatari owners getting one over their neighbors.

Those quotes prove what a deceitful wanker he is.

Alves: "I had interest from Manchester City. Their project is also very interesting. If Guardiola or City feel embarrassed, I apologise."

Alves at unveiling: "If Pep Guardiola & Manchester City feel hurt, I apologise to them. However, I have come here to become a champion."

Bollocks

Horrible to shit on the manager who he is supposed to love so much. Wonder will this have adverse effect on Guardiola's pulling power. His unthankfulness to Pep sends a message. You're better off without him.
How are you so sure that he didn't speak to Pep before making his decision and that Pep knew this was to occur?

Alves comments confirm he didn't tell Pep in his apology
You may be right as it is one interpretation. The tweet on the previous page isn't that conclusive and he could well have spoken to him and only said what he has because of the shit storm it has stirred. Unless Pep/Alves confirm they had/didn't have a conversation, I guess we will never know.

Anyway, we move on
