I bet City have known for a few days that this was going down, but what can we do about it? Must have run the rule over a few right backs, but price will have gone up - any club who sells a right back now has to replace them and they can see our position.

You don't know that. Pep wanted the player. The player as of last week wanted to come, even confirming it in tv interviews. Somehow Txiki has failed to finalise everything on an open goal.

I don't like people who blame Txiki for everything but he deserves a kicking here unless we sign 4 top full backs within the next week our preparation for next season will be off to a shocker.

Didn't I read on here somewhere, may of been you Dom, that although Alves has lots of respect for Pep and his football they weren't exactly friends. Something about a falling out on a couple of occasions.
