Don't understand that, how does that benefit Juventus?

I read a while back that he has a clause in his contract that it can be terminated if he chooses, kind of like a reverse of when clubs have a additional year option on a player, I could be wrong...

Only thing I can think is that he's due a loyalty bonus from Juve that is likely to be due at the end of this month. Say he's due £3m, they're probably happy to just cancel the contract and let him leave.

He's agreed a two year deal with City apparently. We're currently talking to Juve but if there is a fee it'll be nominal. Think there was some sort of clause in Alves' contract that lets him leave this summer. No idea about how/when City will announce it but i can't imagine it'll be long.

This has been on the cards for a while (was first mooted back in Spring) and I for one am absolutely over the moon. Excellent addition even if it's a short term one.

Is this the deal that stops Spurs demanding silly money for Walker? They don't have us over a barrel as we have personnel in that position, if Walker isn't happy there stop banging the table for more money and let him go, no point keeping someone who could effect the dressing room.
