Dani Olmo

Tbh he would be the best option of all, has gone thru Barca academy, so has a grasp of what Pep wants tactically, has UCL experience and one of focal points for national team, would have great understanding with Godri and Gvardiol, i read somewhere that he is very good friends with Haaland. Also is proficient at ACM, both wings. He would be a great creative addition to the roster to give rest to KdB and if Bernardo leaves. I dont know about workrate in defence. 70mil in today’s market, options available would be a great signing. Also cheaper than Paqueta

Don't know why so many people are cold on this fella, always thought he looks a huge threat for Spain. Maybe not the best time to be trying to sign him after a hattrick vs Bayern though.

can you describe his qualities? I have seen him play a few times but never been impressed
he’s a versatile, creative and very intelligent player. he’s capable of magic really. is he good enough for city? i don’t know but i guess so if pep likes him.

some random stuff:
-not a pacy winger - obviously not, he’s a very versatile midfielder
-doesn’t score enough - perhaps, but he’s good at creating chances
-cole palmer and some other kid are better: maybe they will be in the future, not at the moment, plus he has a ton of experience in european and international competitions.

i posted his recent interview, he explains the differences between la masia and dinamo zagreb etc. i think it’s a pretty unique blend of 2 approaches to football that made him a player he is today.

i know many people don’t care about players’ personalities but that part seems to be very important to city, olmo is kind, polite, has excellent work ethic. he speaks croatian and trust me that is not an easy language to learn. he’s very ambitious and wants to win stuff, not just play, collect money and wait for retirement. he left zagreb but he’ll always be one of us.

he’s not only joško’s friend, he’s basically croatian, so that would make three if you get him :D

I don't get why some people seem so against signing him. He makes a lot of sense, if you forget that Leipzig would want a big fee and don't need to sell anymore.

Plus, he's got IPTV, despite earning millions. I rate that. Seems like the kind of thing Bernardo would do.

I can almost guarantee that those people have never watched him play a full 90 minutes. His injury history is a worry but I have no doubt he'd be a fantastic signing.

He sure is talented but why the hell are a vast majority of the players we are linked with so susceptible to injury?
