as a kid in la masia. he went to dinamo zagreb cause it was obvious la masia kids won’t be able to get proper play time in the senior team. and he was la masia captain at the time. he was awesome in dinamo, started playing for spanish national team at that time too.
he went to leipzig from dinamo. barcelona allegedly tried to get him to stay in leipzig without signing an extension and just join them on free next year.
he’s an excellent player and an amazing person.
