Breaking news, owing to heavy demand shops in the Merseyside area are reporting record sales of candles. A spokesperson for the UOC union of candlemakers said this was sure signs of an economic recovery for the candle industry and they could see the light at the end of the tunnel. He went on to say that the industry was at it wicks end, stating we have had no outpouring of grief from the people of Liverpool for months. In answer to the question whether this growth could be snuffed out quickly he indicated that if Liverpool could sell Skirtel as well it would be a truly sensational year for growth and profits.

I wrote that comment intentionally to show how crap twitter can be when you believe everything in it , there are trusted sources , but you don't have to believe every rumours you see there

I swear i saw a post from an itk mentioning agger's handed a TR and very next post mentioning he's not

I wrote that comment intentionally to show how crap twitter can be when you believe everything in it , there are trusted sources , but you don't have to believe every rumours you see there

Every account like this is a fake ITK. Real ITKs don't brag, boast, get into teen flamewars, or pretend to know about goings on at EVERY club like these kids do. Ask Tolmie who West Brom are in for and he probably can't tell you because any ITK has a limited range of information while these are "Agger hands in transfer request" one minute, "Aston Villa want James Milner back" the next, then ten minutes later it's "United closing in on Lucas Moura".

ban twitter from the transfer forum or it should have its own thread where if people want to follow whats said they can and the rest of us can carry on in this forum without it's distractions. IMO.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is ready to return to former club Swansea City to sign Wales defender Ashley Williams as Daniel Agger is being targeted by Manchester City.

Rodgers, who would also like to sign Swansea's GB Olympic star Joe Allen before the end of the transfer window, is bracing himself for Agger's departure.

The Denmark defender has reached the final two years of his contract and has given no encouragement to the club to extend his deal.

He did not play in the club's Europa League tie in Belarus on Thursday night. Manchester City have seen two offers for Agger rejected but a third bid of £20million is likely to tempt owner John W Henry to sell.

Barcelona have also put Agger on a shortlist of defenders wanted at the Nou Camp but their priority is Arsenal's Alex Song.

Rodgers promised not to upset Swansea when he left them for Anfield at the end of last season, but that has not stopped his interest in a £10m deal for Allen, which he hopes to complete once the Olympic Games are over.

It will be closer to 25m than 20m before they agree to sell IMO. 20m for De Rossi, 20m for RVP 60 -65m outlay that TH spoke about months ago. QED :-)

did he actually say we would shell out 60-65m this window? if so thats quite a lot and would be surprising to me at least

I wonder if £20m plus Adebayor would tempt them, considering there are rumours linking him with a loan move to Anfield??????

Surely we could include any from Boyaata, Savic, Kolo, Cruz, Ade and MJ as a way of reducing the fee.

Agger will be ours by the end of the window... Or he'll stay at Liverpool or go to Barca cause they're interested. I'm ITK you know.
