i don't think we have to worry about saturday they will have a go at us for 15 mins then run out of gas a get picked off just like they did at our place. £24 scandelous if it was us putting this bid in we would be slaughterd they tried to on ssn that 18 rising to 24 was a bargain compared to CHELSEA paying nearly 30 mil for dzeko both are about the same they tried to say well 1 is 24 and 1 is 29 1 has a domestic title to his name 1 has'nt 1 is a proven international goalscorer 1 is'nt just have to love some of these clowns sky employ. don't get me wrong bent is a good goalscorer and will do well at villa but he is coming towards the end of his carear and to be paying upto 24 mil for him is stupidity.

£13m from Charlton to Spurs...... the rest was made up in add-ons none of which were ever paid (check the PLC accounts)

£xxm from Sunderland to Villa (20% to Spurs as a sell on fee).....
 
If it true this could kick off a load of activity. Obviously Lerner now understands there is a good chance they could go down and is now willing to spend the Milner money where it counts.

They would have 2 very good signings there all be it in the wrong areas. I think we can take for granted Villa will be moving more out Carew and quite possibly Ireland maybe young as well in this window - their wage bill is out of control cant see them taking 2 on decent wages without getting rid of a similar number. Wouldnt be surprised if those deals are well in hand.

Decent player but missed a load of chances before he scores, never worth 18-24mil in a million years, having said that if he keeps them up he will be. Got panic buy written all over it
 
He scored against us for Sunderland in the 1-0 loss earlier this season but IIRC we contained him well and it was a stupid foul by Micah in injury time that gave them the penalty Bent scored. A classic example of points dropped that shouldn't have been.

I actually can't emphasise enough how bad I think Villa are, and I really hope Mancini just lets our players at them from start to finish. How good would it be, live on cameras, to hammer a club like Villa away something like 4-0?

I'd love it especially after the rags struggling there, when they came to are place I thought they could go down! Some of the media are already starting to turn and there will be even more after Saturday
 
They are saying cash up front deal as well. Our cash from the Milner deal that is !
