David Bowie RIP.

I avoid rip threads like the plague but for this fella i'll make an exception.

Truly ground-breaking and original artist that enriched the world with his music. RIP.
 
More prominent in a era before I was even born but his music is so quality and inspiring, I know and enjoy a lot of his music... Shows how shit my generation of autotuned pop stars are.

Quality music. RIP Bowie.
 
A sad loss that brings into perspective how time flies by so quickly. You know when you are getting old when those artists you grew up listening to start passing away.

Saw him at Maine Road on the Glass Spider tour in 87, stood on my usual spot on the Kippax.
Everyone wanted the classics but he just played the new album with the Gene Jeanie or Rebel Rebel thrown in at the end.

Only album I ever had was Hunky Dory.... will give it a play later

Only me who doesn't like his music then, a few tracks excepted? I can appreciate he was a pioneer and an icon, but his music is not for me.

Grew up with his music as a teenager in the 70s. One of the few artists from that generation to achieve similar success in each subsequent decade.

A real legend.

read about it on the bus to work 7 this morning what a terrible thing to be taken so early. A musical talent that was loved by millions and made some of the great songs I grrw up on and there has been, very sad news.
