Bowies music has been part of my life since I was 12 years of age. I feel like a close friend has died. I can't believe how incredably sad I feel today with his passing.

I feel exactly the same as the above posts. I'm early 40's and for three quarters of it I've listened to his music. Feel really gutted. Lemmy and now bowie, two icons gone . Real shocker about bowie though, I think it's hit the general public hard too. Well liked bloke.
