It's going to be a very sad day when he goes. Model professional, doting father and without doubt one of the most gifted players to have played for our club. He loves everything about City and he has more than done his part in helping us get to where we are and where we are going to. But David is clearly a wise man and he will no doubt see the talent we have, that he has helped to nurture in the likes of Bernardo and young Phil and he may feel that now is the time to hand the baton on and go for a different adventure as he enters the twilight years of his career and it would be completely unfair to deny him that opportunity and City just wouldn't do it. He has given blood, sweat and tears for this club, even making sure he pulled a blue shirt on when his little boy was in a life and death situation, now that my friends is love and dedication to us fans, his teammates and his manager that can never be underestimated. So yes, it will be sad, many will shed a tear, including me, but above anything else, when he does go, I'll be waving him and his family away wishing them luck, love and happiness wherever they may go.
