If David played for Rags or dippers this boy would be raved about morning to night on ssn. He has kept us going since end of January.. Because he simply just has god given talent we take him for granted and because he is a modest super pro who just does his business and goes home and gets on with it, and he's Johnny Foreigner but shows us how you can be a slight small lad but have the biggest influence on the biggest games....I've lost my point...but yeah Silva is unbelievable and can't believe I am living to see such a player wear my teams shirt. Beautiful, intelligent little gem of a player and he's ours

Its a total disgrace that the media generally dont give him due recognition.

Perhaps its a combination of factors - the fact that he doesn't seek the limelight, that he doesn't play for the rags or a London team, and that he is modest to a fault.

A truly great player is being overlooked by the so called experts in the media.

It is a total privilege to watch an artist at work. He is a Da Vinci and the football field is his canvas.

At least City fans appreciate this jewel in the crown.

I think he's the most naturally gifted player in a City shirt I'll ever see in my lifetime. Truly phenomenal player, makes footballing look easy.

Been brilliant since we signed him but come on ... He has been something eels these last few games, even for Spain he was pulling the strings

Even with the recent Barca and Bayern games, he's the best player I've ever seen in the flesh. Absolutely different class. Reckon every top club in Europe must be kicking themselves that they didn't have the sense to sneak in and sign him before we did.

The only (extremely!) slight disappointment of the night is that Silva didn't score himself after that take from Yaya's pass. Would have been one of the best goals in Premier League history.

Best player in the country, bar none. Fuck Suarez, and as much as I love Aguero, I'd still put Silva a notch above him.
