David Silva (continued)

Just watching the City v Everton Golden Goals feature... that bit of play when he ran onto the ball turned on a sixpence and played an intricate little pass through for Milner to score... another from his collection of ridiculously brilliant bits of play.

I remember Rodwell was tasked with man marking him that whole game and did a very good job until that moment where he had to decide whether to try and win the ball or not - he made the right choice but Silva just manipulated space out of nothing and played Milner through, taking three players out of the game as he did it. Quite simply the best creative player we have ever had at this club.

I remember that pass.

I still think it is even better than the volleyed pass for Dzeko in the 6-1. Any more on the ball and it would have gone through to Howard. Any less and Milner wouldn't have been through on goal.

Absolutely perfect weight with no margin for error either way.

Did something very similar against Wigan to set Aguero up for his hattrick too that season.

Just heard MP press conference, chuffed with the news that Silva is available.

Huge boost for these last 3 games.

I expect him to be on bench, but whether he starts or comes on is a massive lift, 2 and a bit weeks ago we had lost Toure, Silva nd the title along with it, great to know we have these 2 massive players bac . Pity about Navas as his pace is another great option.

He will play 100 %
