After watching the Spain game this afternoon, I am a little unsure now about Silva.

I know you cant simply go off 1 game, but he had trouble breaking down a tough defence. It reminded me of watching Robbie away at places like Stoke, Blackburn etc, where they sat back and dug in, and Robbie didnt have the muscle to force his way past them, when the silky stuff didnt work.

Do you think he could handle being doubled up on week in week out by substandard cloggers? It didnt work for robbie, who is very similar in size and style of play.

Bellers gets away with it because his game is about aggression and raw pace

Lego head

Lescott? What about him?

I just don't think Milner is worth £20+ million.

Dick head.

Excuse me mate, but don't call me a dickhead. Milner's head looks like a piece of Lego. That was not a direct insult at you. Thought you mihhthave caught onto what I was implying, that it was about milner, not you

Generally, when something appears to be too good to be true, it's because it IS too good to be true. I doubt that we will get all 3 of Yaya, Silva and Milner. But if we do, i will officially cream myself.

Just make sure you're not close to me when you do. ;) thanks

So hands up who's ever seen Silva play a great deal different to what we saw today? Not saying he's a bad player or couldn't do it for City but today Silva did what he does. Sometimes it works out better. Sometimes he's inspired but on the whole, on average, Silva does what he did today & that's what we'd be signing.

so he's managed to build himself a world class reputation
and also managed to get himself into arguably the best national team in the world
because he's been shit for the last 5 years?
