David Silva

So when's he going to perform in a competitive match against an organised defence?

Yes he can take Blackpool (Conceded the most goals last season) or Inter (New manager, uncompetitive game) to pieces but we have paid more than £20 million for a world cup winner who goes missing when the going gets tough.
You are a nobhead.

"goes missing" give your head a tilt

IMO the best footballer weve ever had,and one of the great things about David is hes so consistant, rarely does a game pass him by.
Even last week at Fulham he was our best player until subbed.

How often do world class players put up 3 assists against Chanpions League competition. Asking him to carry the team like he does against the likes of Wigan or even Spurs is a bit much. We need team performances.

I think its difficult to pick out single games, and say a certain player was good in one game and poor in another, but David Silva over all contribution to the team as been immense,he is by far technically more gifted than any other City player. He spots a pass like no other player in the team.He is not getting all the plaudits from the media and the fans for no reason, even fans of United have mentioned how good he is.All these people who praise can't all be wrong. And I find it very difficult to see how anyone can criticise him to be honest.

Ditto! And that from a 'Blue'.

The guy whos started this thread needs to get off the crack pipe and go down to a game poor sod

David Silva has created more scoring chances from open play (18) than any other player in the top flight.
