Silva is the only member of our squad who is truly irreplaceable. We won't win the league without him. Ladyman should not be discounted. He has sources in and around Manchester and the club.
What I hope is its just a leak from silva's side as part of the negotiation game. But make no mistake, we must do what it takes to get him to sign. He's the nearest thing we have to world class and the rhythm section of our entire orchestra.

Not sure I agree with the emboldened bit. But that aside I agree, Silva is vital to us (even if he has not played really well for us for a while) and we do need to get this new contract signed.
Pretty clear that this is leaked info (ie not just made up by Ladyman) but the positive is that it sounds just like a part of the negotiations, there's no hint he's holding out for Real/Barca/etc.

I was trying to clarify for fellow blues that the story is true. That is all. The only thing I don't know is where Ian Ladyman got his info from. Although again I know for a fact it wasn't from Silva's side.
