For me, I'd start him on the left Wednesday, especially if PSG use Marquinhos there, who isn't the most adventurous when he plays there.

Great shout. Especially as De Bruyne is about half as efficient on the left as when he's in the middle, and Silva can put in a defensive shift when he has to.
I wouldn't mind Yaya begint fit, though, and use a similar system as we did against Kyiv away and at the Wembley against the Dippers, but with Silva in Sterling's (initial) position and De Bruyne as no. 10, with Fernandinho complementing the right wing when we're (counter)attacking.
For those of you genuine Silva admirers and there are too many to PM..
To allay any slight fears.. David was just genuinely rested yesterday. It's fantastic that KDB & Nasri are now fit and this is an option.

I read this article out to Mrs Ewing over my poached eggs, and said how wonderful hindsight is. Nasri said yesterday that he was back five weeks early and when the squads for the CL had to be announced it was clear to anyone with only one eye and partially sighted at that, that Nasri wouldn't figure in the CL. But obviously Drucker the Fucker knows best!
Edit: scrub that!
He also reports on yesterday's game and suggests that Pellers made a mistake not including Samir in the CL squad!!

What is the actual problem with David ankle?, is it because of the ligaments around it, or a bone spur going into the joint itself, or even bone fragments within the joint itself, and what of this operation he needs and how long will he need to be out for a complete recovery????.........
