Bernard oSilva, I have to say is probably the best player I have seen at trapping a ball in my lifetime, apart from David.
Nearly every ball that comes to him he brings under control, has an eye for goals and can prosuce sublume passes, I think if he wasn't in and out of the team, he would outshine Sane and Sterling, as he has that much potential.

So for me bernad as David natural replacement yes, but that's just my opinion

Merlin's not afraid to get stuck in. Some of his tackles can be described as "robust". That's something you can't say about Raz.

No, and it isn't cuz I think Raheem won't be as good, but clearly he's getting molded and ushered into a different role.

Silva's role requires incredible technique, ball retention in the middle of the park, and an excellent eye for a pass, none of which are Sterling's best traits.

Silva is unique. I dont think we could ever replace him or what he brings to the team, more adapt and change without him.
