Favorite memory of whitey was getting us a 2nd half penalty against the scum at the swamp. Waited for neville to close him down and got taken out. I was in the stretford end at the time and they were allcalling for a dive I was just smug as is possible to be

Not sure Rat Boy even played in 92??
Check out White slapping Bruce on the back when getting up, as if to say ''thanks pal''! and then the fan jumping on Curle when he scores.
I was in New Zealand when this game was played - it should have been played the week before but (as can be seen) the swamp was a swamp. I had no idea it had been rearranged to the new date until I picked up a Kiwi newspaper and there was the score!

Paul moulden mate and i bought this book from a city meeting in the summer,gary james was there that night and it's a great read...

Think White missed a sitter as well in that game

He certainly did, from about 4 yards....and another in the 3-3 at Maine Road, hitting the bar with a free header, it would have made it 4-1 and no way back for the Rags...the rest as they say, is history!

That's the one,he did well for us but was a bit injury prone,i think he had a couple of leg breaks that set him back a bit..

Sorry, I think you've mistaken someone else for me. I haven't been to a City meeting this summer and it's not my book (though I'd encourage anyone to buy it). I have previously interviewed Moulden in his chippy though. He's a great guy and I sat on a sack of potatoes as he fileted fish - one of my favourite locations for an interview and I really did enjoy chatting with him.

The only meeting the book was flogged at was at Prestwich and fellow author Andrew Waldon was there!
