Anyway loved whitey, lakey, redmond etc. Those were the days when i used to do about 15 aways per season.

Steve Redmond is so underated nowadays by many, i thought he was fantastic, and despite being a scouser he was blue through and through. I suddenly felt really old when his son Daniel came on as a Wigan sub against us on Tuesday though!!!

He was my favourite player when growing up so much so that I had a whole wall of my bedroom dedicated to him from newspaper cut-outs!

Quick Quiz.
Prior to White scoring 4 v Villa, who was the last player to achieve this feat for City....and for a bonus, who was it against?

Rosler v Notts County at Maine Road in the FA Cup replay

Favorite memory of whitey was getting us a 2nd half penalty against the scum at the swamp. Waited for neville to close him down and got taken out. I was in the stretford end at the time and they were allcalling for a dive I was just smug as is possible to be

Tueart v Notts County

I thought it was Bruce that brought him down, White suckered him in then shifted the ball, deffo pen anyway
