Thought we needed cover when it was rumoured it was 6 weeks. We need to go and get somebody now it's 10 weeks. He'll take a few weeks to get upto standard after being out for that long so it's as good as the rest of the season just like Nasri. Do whatever it takes to get cover in, spend whatever it takes as we simply can't compete in 4 competitions with just 3 strikers and 3 attacking midfielder, 2 of which regularly get injuries. Hopefully we'll have a contingency plan lined up. It's Txiki time.

Has nobody mentioned the elbow in the back of the head that resulted in KDB going down?
The fact Funes Mori has struck someone in this part of the head he should be cited and banned for a long time. I really cant believe nothing more has been made of it.
That area of the head is one of the most unprotected and one punch, "a coward hit" is one of the most lethal and talked about in this country at the moment.
Im not saying that Funes Mori deliberately aimed for this part of the head, but every human takes pain and damage differently to others. Even the UFC doesnt allow strikes to the back of the head.
This attack is the one thing that has really got me pissed about the game. What will the FA do? Fuck all as usual and unfortunately it will take a player to have a seizure or worse before any kind of action happens.
That could be 1 life too late

A major setback for the rest of the season no doubt and hopefully it is just a presentation of the worst case scenario and he is back way before that time span. We need all the players for all the competitions and this does not help; the way it happened was so far fetched and awkward as well.
Injuries has been a key feature this season but even so, it is still a team effort and other players will have to step up when they are called upon. Samir Nasri is a player that will be important as he should be back from injury soon and he will become an integral part of the team's campaign for the rest of the season.
