De Bruyne?

This transfer is one big cluster fuck. James Robson saying he will have to put in a transfer request which he said he won't do..everyone reporting we bid twice yet they say we haven't?
 
Surely if people on the City side are confident that this is happening then Wolfsburg would not wait until they get money before planning their contingency. I suspect that they have been pushing this out all along until they had their replacement lined up. I'd be surprised if they didn't sign someone within a few days of the bid being accepted.

I think this is why KDB is willing to not force anything. IMO everyone is just waiting for the green light from whoever Wolfsburg are signing a player from - all the clatter is just typical German elitism that they can't help themselves from spouting seemingly.
 
During commentary on the WBA game yesterday, Ian Cheeseman seemed pretty confident that this would be a done deal in time for the chavs game on Sunday.

Don't think Ian would've gone public without being pretty certain of his facts.

He deletes the tweets whenever he is wrong. He knows fuck all, he said a couple of months ago sabella was basically done to be the city manager. De bruyne will join but take what he says with a pinch of salt, anybody could say city are buying de bruyne but not pedro as its very likely to be proved right and he can get credit for it with no inside information used at all.
