I don't necessarily disagree, just that it could possibly limit our tactical options and there are very few natural wingers available with the quality we'd be after. You could argue Griezmann but he would cost the same, if not more than KDB.

If I were to be the people of Wolfsburg, I'd wait until after the CL-draw on Thursday to make any descision whatsoever. Furthermore I'm sure they are sounding out several options and make sure that whenever KDB was to be sold to us or whoever is interested in the player, there would be a replacement either 2 or 3 players ready to step in immediately. But Wolfsburg could easily run into the same problem they give us: The sellers will know how much money Wolfsburg will generate from KDB plus the fact Wolfsburg didn't needed it in the first place (so they were saying themselves), and this in a time when clubs don't want to sell their best assets anymore. Meaning Wolfsburg can expect to pay over the odds for their targets.

Meanwhile I just patiently await the outcome of our transferdealings to be finalized when the window shuts down. After that the media will no doubt continue to link the mighty ManYur to the world biggest names in football to guarantee the number of clicks from all over the world.

We'll sign him - then they'll fix it so we play Wolfsburg in the Champs league - that will create a great story - that will create publicity and sell papers/TV coverage - nuff said.
 
The 2 German flights are both from inside the UK, the first one landed about an hour ago.

The VW flight is coming in from Italy.
 
You have to ask yourself if Wolfsburg are behind these "leaks" about firstly Bayern, then Utd being in for him just to drive up the fee. I do feel if we really want him he will come. Incidentally I don't remember Wolfsburg being this bad to deal with when we gave them 27m for Edin, so must be us playing equal hardball.
 
This would be the perfect time for city to make a stand and say fuck you "We ain't being ripped off". And walk away.
We need to do this publicly at some point otherwise it will keep happening with every club we deal with. Sooner or later we need to do it.
We are a good enough side now that we can quite easily do without him and move on.

I don't know anything regarding what is happening behind the scenes so maybe im totally wrong. But from the outside it appears that we are being fucked about on nearly every deal we try to do.

Edit.. and I must add, this is a fan who has money on KDB signing for city. It's only a tenner mind, but there comes a point when I'd rather we walked away than carry on dealing with clubs like this

I really don't know why we haven't tried to call their bluff and leak interest in another player into the public domain. Everybody keeps saying they don't need to sell and they don't want to sell which is bollocks any club that is possibly going to make 35M after 1 year is going to be up for it. It is not like the ginger haired **** is a poster boy you can use as a global icon similar to Aguero,Yaya and Silva
