Why are so many proposing we "walk away"?
We've put in the hard yards, we're obviously making some progress and the fact is he'll be signing a whopper of a contract likely to be 5/6 years. Why on earth would we decide to give up on it a week before the window closes?
If you're bored of the transfer then I suggest you knock this thread on the head because there's every chance it'll carry on in a similar vein for the next 6 days. The only reason it's become boring in the first place is down to the regurgitated quotes and tweets that are posted at regular intervals.
We, as a club have said nothing, not a single thing. We've mentioned no price, as far as I know we haven't name checked him at all in the press. All the posturing has been done from their side so I'm not sure how the posters who think City are at fault for not completing the transfer are reaching their conclusions.
As for is he worth it? Of course he is, we've recognised a side of our game that needs improvement and KDB is the perfect player to offer us that. As well as Navas has started there are still weaknesses to his game and I think the club recognise that. For us to go further in all competitions our squad has to be super competitive. Having the likes of Navas and KDB vying for the spot on the right can only be a good thing.
Let this just play out without getting too distressed that it's not being done on your time frame and when it's completed sit back and watch us roll...
