Anyone else been sort of planning and thinking out the year ahead with De Bruyne in mind? I certainly have been (thought this was a foregone conclusion) and will be gutted if we can't get him. Not that it's over yet but have there been any alternatives mentioned that aren't Llajic who is completely average?

The difference is that Real won't meet Uniteds valuation.

Maybe that's where we are at, according to some with info, he's told them he wants to join us, in private. With Raheem they wanted 50, we gave them 44+ 5. Valencia wanted the full €50M we gave them €45M, Wolfsburg want 58 we will want to meet them at whatever < 58. This is probably where we are stuck at.
