I've gotten gradually less and less confident this will happen this week.
Not a flap, for once, but I just get the feeling that if it was going to happen, the bid would have been accepted already.
Not to say it won't happen, just that I think it's less likely than last week.
It's very, very odd that Wolfsburg are just in a state of 'Deny, deny, deny!' (which is why I said they're being more annoying than the Scousers).

has KDB gone back to Belgium because of a family illness, if that is the case I don't think anything will be said about his future until things are a little bit more ok at home.

Ric, basically said he had been told today KDB would inform Wolfsburg of his intentions to join Gods own team. Or something like that :)

I was told that he was going to formally ask to leave Wolfsburg today. No idea whether or not that's actually happened yet, but will let you know if I hear any updates.

Wolfsburg are cash rich club, they don't really have any need to sell money wise. Thats why they have been saying that they will only consider if KDB asks formally to leave. On top of that KDB might get them CL football again the next season, without KDB it could be in danger + they could sell him next summer for around the same price to someone like Bayern. If he doesn't put a transfer request in and they refuse to sell him, do you really think that the lad will say yeah I'll go to Bayern next season when apparently he wants to come to us this season?

We can't ask questions!! We are not privvy to the negotiations. It's Shekh Mansour who asks the questions. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. None of us do.Like I said, we need to ask questions and this is not slagging anybody off. I have never criticized Txixi in the past even when it seemed like Pogba was all but lost (I really have not paid attention to that thread now so I don't know what's going on with Pogba now). We don't know what they have been discussing at the negotiation table but at least we are not completely in the dark about this, we've had events that have given us good clues e.g. we know that the VW manager and director have been vocal of late about this deal. Ifwe don't get KDB or a reasonable alternative, I won't call for his head, no I won't but I won't shield him from criticism either.
If one day, the details are made public & we find out someone has been fucking things up THEN we can judge them. If we have no idea, how the fuck can we say what's right or wrong ?
One thing we know for sure, is Liverpool had no intention of Selling Sterling. Now he plays for City. Somebody did that. Likewise, Wolfsburg do not want to sell DeBruyne to City.
Let's see if they do.
