City will have set there stall out at a certain price wolfsburg will want much more and hope to get an auction going! City no that no other club is interested in the price quoted so will let it drag out till the last minute and get him at our price! Tuesday 2nd September 11am it will be announced!
Not the sensible ones mate, but there are a few who've tried to claim City are doing things wrong.Good post. But I can understand why people are annoyed and frustrated, and I don't think people are blaming City.
Every Day is like Sunday.
we all want him mate but at some point city think enough is enough? his price has doubled in the matter of months?? do you realistically think hes a £60m player???
Tuesday is the 1st September.
I don't think we need to strengthen an area of the team. I think we are looking to add the star quality that makes a difference at the level of the Champions League. The issue for me with De Bruyne is that I think he will be an improvement on Navas. If not De Bruyne, I still feel we need a player better than Navas and time is getting short. That's not flapping, just an honest muse on where could we strengthen? With players already added, or greatly improved, what was the perceived weak link is no longer the case. So an alternative to Navas is for me the area to strengthen in. I am not against Navas, he has raised his game, does provide speed on the Right side, but can get stuck like a rabbit in headlights in the box.

I had a really nice GIF lined up as a comeback but I've been asked not to post risqué red-head pics :(I give up caring about this ginger **** after Ric said he had a private jet booked then ginger **** never turned up.
Ginger ****.
Im in no position to judge a valuation of a player, but If Wolfsburg say they want 60m and City are willing to pay 60m, then that's what he is worth to both clubs involved.
The City 'project' is still on-going, and we need players of KDB's skill involved, to be able to make this 'project' work. The 60m will mean nothing the day we win the Champions League.
Can someone summarise this please? Too many words, hurts my eyes.Maybe we are not desperate for KDB is the reason this is taking long longer?
I assume we set out our targets before the window, with some being more urgent than others. Getting Sterling has meant we can set a budget for KDB that we intend to stick to. This stance is an itelligent thing to do for future transfers. Letting other teams ask for stupid money time and time again will actually harm us long term. If other teams see we are willing to walk away if they get silly with the price, can only be a good thing.
As for KDB, I actually think we have set a take it or leave it fee. They know we are serious, so are leaking rumours to try and make us blink.
It would make sense that they are now seeking a replacement, as they know they are going to accept it.
Another team may try to hijack the deal offering more money, and we miss out. If that happens, so be it. If KDB is willing to change to another club at this late stage would show he isn't what we need.
The Rags might be seriously trying to hijack this deal after the embarrassment of the Pedro swoop. They probably think gazumping us would somehow show the world they are still a force to be reckoned with. (Aka Berbatov etc) The fact that they would have to pay even more over the odds to get a player who wants City would just reek of desperation to all but the most red tinted Rag.
As things stand KDB is not to blame here, he has agreed terms and left the big boys to it. If we cannot agree a fee, then it is us to blame for not wanting him enough, or them being unrealistic with what they want.
We fans want him regardless of cost or implications. Nothing wrong with that. We also want it to happen within 24 hours of hearing we are bidding. Again nothing wrong with that. But the truth is, many City fans not on forums think he isn't coming any way since the public statement at the awards the other week.
I personally think we have enough talent to do better this season already. But the inner kid in me wants sprinkles on top!
Read in Belgian newspaper today that manager de Koster is the whole week in Wolfsburg with KDB. He was saying that they are just waiting the green light from wolfsburg to go to city. He also told all the news about bayern and manunited was crap.
Sure it says do not read, move along and do something less boring instead. Can someone summarise this please? Too many words, hurts my eyes.

As for the frustration, I can see how it can manifest if you stay on this thread for too long! Haha!
