De Bruyne?

Don't get me wrong I'm sure he's doing a great job but this idea that somehow Txiki is our saviour for doing his job is over the top in my opinion
Personally to date I think he`s done a great job so far this season. However if we do manage to get KDB then perhaps people should then give him the credit he deserves. He`s still gets crucified by some, for transfers that happened before his arrival.

Coming across that WolfsBurg doesn't want to sell him and quite happy to sell to there BumBoysBayern next season and take a hit on the fee..
How much money profit are Wolfsburg satisfied with? £50m is more than reasonable! I would not e happy if I was the player knowing what they bought me for.

Why not just say "We won't sell" from the beginning and save everyone a whole lot of time and effort?

If Bayern are manipulating them then it serves them to ensure we do not just lump all the money on Pogba. They may see City as a genuine CL threat and be happy for Wolfsburg to mess with our transfer window by stringing us along to the final moment after our main target.

Though I don't really buy that conspiracy theory Bayern seem to hate us enough to make it just about credible.

Yeh he'll get some credit - even more so if KDB turns out to be A crucial player in the komany, hart, silva category

Hope we hear some positive news following his agent's discussions today

Really thought this was going to be the easiest of our transfers how wrong I was and how much time have I wasted on this thread!

Really past caring now!

By all accounts he seems a sensitive guy, maybe he's very settled in Germany and the lure of the premiership isn't for him. He may of thought about it and gave the indication that he was interested but has weighed up his options and had second thoughts but the media speculation hasn't gone away. I wish him well whatever decision he takes.

I think if this was the case we would have moved on. He is definitely interested, it's just wolsburg trying to squeeze every last penny out of us. Remember a couple more million is much more important to them than it is to us.

My only other theory with this deal is that it is indeed all but completed but wolsburg have asked us to wait in order for them to go after replacements. Surely they would rather teams not know that they have a spare 58 million to spend!

I would say if he doesn't have the stones to stand up and tell them he wants out (if he really wants to come) then maybe he does lack a backbone and some character !! Are they the attributes we are looking for when the chips are down and we need to dig in in the Champs league ??

Combination of the two

I`m still of the opinion that the wait is due to Wolfsburg wanting to conclude their replacement,as all of a sudden there are no noises coming out of Wolfsburg nor his Agent, other than a meeting is/has taken place.
Not long now,either way.

No chance of us signing a player with character deficiencies imo. Due diligence will have been done.

Step quoting and regurgitating that Bild shit for the love of God. It is a week old and already denied.
You @City_Watch: Minor De Bruyne update from BILD: His agent is at training with him today and is holding crucial talks with Wolfsburg chief Klaus Allofs.

Fucking Bild again ?
Seriously ?
Didn't someone post a picture of DeBruyne's agent on here hours ago ? Now they tell us he's there to talk to Wolfsburg ? No fucking shit.

And which club are they going to link with him today, in order to get more interest from morons?

When they do link him with another club, the first one to post it, is a ****.

It would appear that there is a certain conflict of interests when you consider the Wolfsburg v Munich relationship.
My understanding was that you can't have ownership/ direct influence over another club in the same league.
The Munich monopolisation of the Bundesliga is alarming and for the sake of competition it would appear that UEFA should investigate if there is any corruption or breach of trade agreements here.

This reminds me of the current situation in Scottish football where Celtic rule the SFA with an iron fist, buy players on the cheap from their rivals after talking up their opponents star players into running down contracts. It is clear that the Bayern situation is even more alarming when you consider they own a share in their direct competitors. Questions must be asked
