I didn't say we had bid this, just if it's true Wolfsburg suddenly thinking they can slap on an extra £10mil from what they wanted a couple of weeks ago is taking the piss. We probably would get 57mil worth out of him and i do want him in the squad as well it's just frustrating to see other clubs acting like c u next tuesdays after they've already set a price tag which we were willing to pay.

I get you. Thing is we are always going to pay a premium and don't think that will change in the near future. Obscene money @45, 50 or 57 million but this is footbal. :-)

I'm still very confident, based on what our ITK posters have said over the last few weeks, that De Bruyne will be joining City. Doesn't mean I'm not monumentally frustrated at how long this is all taking! I'm sure there are perfectly legitimate reasons for this to still be going on as opposed to completed by now, but that doesn't do anything to relieve the feelings!

Bare in mind Kevin DeBruyne is gonna cost 20 mil-ish more than Pedro, so this question is asked with the assumption you'd put the money saved into pushing Pogba over the line.
