De Bruyne?

The coach. He's pissed. Cause...We're gonna get him, we're gonna get him...

An exasperated Dieter Hecking says ongoing questions on the future of sought-after Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne are annoying him.

The Belgium international has become one of the hottest properties in world football after a stellar campaign for Wolfsburg last year.

De Bruyne's 10 goals and 20 assists helped the club to second in the Bundesliga and his performances have reportedly attracted interest from several clubs.

Manchester City have been heavily linked with the forward, but as speculation rumbles on, Hecking expressed his frustration at relentless questions regarding the player's future.

"It's getting on our nerves because the questions are the same and the answers as well," he said. "Even you guys [the press] should have understood that by now. We can't give you anything more.

"I personally can't answer this question at all, because this is topic is more for [sporting director] Klaus Allofs.

"But I don't want to say anything about this topic, because Allofs already said enough. The club has a clear standpoint and we can't react to every story The Guardian, Daily Mirror or a newspaper in Magdeburg or Manchester writes.

"I really don't care and that's getting on my nerves.

"It's not my job as manager to give daily updates and it affects the team. I read a comment from Bas Dost today, who said that the team knows that one of the players is wanted by top clubs.

"He has deserved that, but the team is a big factor in why he made this development. And Kevin De Bruyne knows that. He didn't do this by himself.

"If you see him, you have no impression that Kevin is thinking about leaving. That he is privately thinking about it is normal.

"But the moment he steps into our training-facilities, he is focused and looking toward the start of the Bundesliga on Sunday. That's why all the questions are getting on our nerves."

Fuck off ya ginger tit(if he hasn't decided yet)!!
He's hardly going to rub Wolfburg's noses in it and say that he decided to join City months ago is he? Officially he has no decision to make until the clubs agree a deal.

If that tweet was true, I'd tell him to fuck off.

I don't believe a word of it.

If he's having trouble deciding whether to join us or leave for Bayern/Real/Barcelona next year that's a good sign - it means we are pushing the limits of the quality of player we can attract, and we're signing players good enough for the best teams in the world.

If a player is desperate to come to us and he has no other options that means no one else of our stature rates him enough to be interested in him. I bet Scott Sinclair didn't second guess joining us.

What's important is that he gets here. That's all.

I think the problem is Wolfsburg dont need to sell and dont need the cash and get the feeling they might only agree a fee to "respect the player's wishes"...in my opinion, if De bruyne sits on the fence and is happy to stay.....this deal isnt going to happen! His agent and De Bruyne have been very careful about what they say and he seems happy to stay with Wolfsburg but also interested to join us.....I think we at a point where De Bruyne needs to pick a side and i just not sure him or his agent are willing to push hard enough to get out of Wolfsburg....I think if De Bruyne was willing to do a "Otamendi" and skip training, he would already be a City player.....Wolfsburg seem to want the rumours and the questions stopped so this meeting with De Bruyne last nite/today could push the deal or very quickly end anymore negotiations.....

That Sky Germany tweet is nonsense, he's known about our interest for months now and has had time to thoroughly think it through. You don't just make a life changing decision in a week.

What they probably mean is that next week he will formalise his intentions

I swear to God every time I read this I nearly have an aneurism.
Did United need £80m for Ronaldo? No.
Does any Premier League club ever need to sell? No. Tottenham financially could have kept Modric and Bale. Liverpool didn't need to sell Suarez.

Why do people keep saying they don't need the money? It is doing my head in big time.

De Bruyne seems to be more concerned about upsetting Wolfsburg than he is about his own career if you ask me. And I'd prefer it if he had shown a bit more desire about wanting to join City.

He might be showing plenty of desire to the deal makers though, and ultimately that's all that matters.
