De Bruyne?

To be honest i haven't seen anything of De Bruynre to suggest he is worth 50m.
I havent want that many games in the bundelisga though. Has anyone watched him consistently that can tell me what his best qualities are ?
He doesn't seem paticularly quick and doesn't seem like a right sided winger which i imagine is where he would play replacing Navas.

He is. I suggest you watch some of his games, they're pretty much all available on YouTube. He's not lightening quick, but won't need to be as his game isn't based on speed. He's more of a creator of chances, delivers one of the best set pieces around and links up superb with those around him. The fact that those players will now be Sterling, Aguero and Silva is football porn.
Hope that answers your concerns.

Spot on that Pablo.

Ok. For argument's sake let's say that the fee that will be enough to get him is 50m.

Wolfsburg's preferred outcome remains to keep the player, but if their hand is forced, they'll take 50m.

The window shuts at the end of this month and in Wolfsburg's position, I would be spending that time doing everything I could to keep him. Even if that 50m is there on the table, they dont need to accept it right now. They know we want him and won't go away (but hey, if we do, that's a bonus).

In their position, id be spending between now and September doing everything I could to persuade him to stay. Maybe prepare a new contract, maybe try and convince him that if he stays with Wolfsburg one more year, he could be the main man at Bayern in 12 months. If it doesn't work, then they'll grudgingly take the cash.

In short, I'm not sure that offering the final asking price (which we may have already done) would make the deal happen any quicker.

On the other hand if he has made his mind up the longer they take to accept our offer (what ever it may be) then the less time they have to spend the money they make to find replacements or new additions to better there team

He is pretty fast tbh. Not Navas/Sterling fast but compared to Silva/Nasri he's quick. A lot of his goals/assists came from his involvement in counterattacks, so he's no slouch.
