any updates on the outcome of the meeting between KDB's agent and the club's officials?
The info is a couple of pages back. They have offered him a new contract with a £50m release clause which can possibly only be triggered in 2016, but no word whether he has accepted or declined it.

Doesn't really make sense to me because they allegedly want £50m now. With another year at this level you'd think he'd be worth at least another £10m to them.

Have you stopped to think, maybe it's not quite as easy as that. It's not football manager. We'll sign some of our top targets. We'll be very lucky to sign all of them. The great thing is we are in a position to sign the best talent each year so if it doesn't happen this year, there's always next. You don't need to worry, city will be absolutely fine.

I swear if it's because we don't want to meet the asking price... If there ever was a window where we should splash the cash it's this one, no reason to try and save a lowly £10m or something like that and see it turn into another Van Persie/Hazard situation down the line. I understand beating around the bush in regards to Sterling, but not with De Bruyne and Pogba, their clubs simply won't lower the price as they have no reason to.

Txiki has done his bit for this year, he is now out of office till October when he will start looking at the enxt window. Have some sense man, he will be doing his level best to get the players we want this summer

Have you stopped to think, maybe it's not quite as easy as that. It's not football manager. We'll sign some of our top targets. We'll be very lucky to sign all of them. The great thing is we are in a position to sign the best talent each year so if it doesn't happen this year, there's always next. You don't need to worry, city will be absolutely fine.
Be realistic please, last season there was a spell where 4th place wasn't nailed down. This season is paramount, the chairman himself making a big statement should tell you this.
