De Bruyne?

I think what makes this feel like the longest transfer is the player/agent have been relatively quiet while still on holiday. You would think we would have the best situation for him out of all the choices. As mentioned before, he will be an instant starter/upgrade in our team versus Bayern(who just brought in Douglas Costa) or a PSG. We offer better chances at trophies than Wolfsburg. Outside of Bayern, Bundesliga is known to have the CL spots changed from year to year. Wolfsburg don't seem to be spending big, like previous seasons. Match day revenue can't be as high as ours, Volkswagen arena ranks near the bottom in capacity. They may not want to say it publicly to keep the price high but they might need to sell KDB to bring more depth to their squad if they want to have a decent season in CL and try to secure another top 4 finish. Dortmund and Schalke will be back and healthier to challenge for those spots again.

You have heard of VW haven't you?

A few weeks ago there was a heavy fight on top of Volkswagen, unfortunately for us, the wrong guy left the company. Winterkorn, now in charge, is a huge football fan and responsible for Wolfsburg success. If Piech would have won, we would have really good chance now as he never liked the club and had no interest in it.

Bild: De Bruyne to a contract extension despite City and PSG

Despite pressure from Manchester City and PSG on the player, it is difficult to direct, but probably toward a contract extension for Kevin De Bruyne with Wolfsburg. The Belgian international has signed a new 5 year contract (it is already linked with the German club until 2019), announces Bild. The vice-champion of Germany will pay an annual salary of 8.5 million euros to the Belgian.

Nooooooooooooo
