De Bruyne?

Having got Sterling (touch wood) I think KDB is a luxury. I'd go for Pogba, or a back-up in case Pogba falls through.

If Toure is like last season we couldn't play KDB, Aguero & Sterling or whatever attacking combination you want. We'd have to compromise our attacking play by packing the midfield

Marvin, I agree mate...If Sterling is done deal, then I see Pogba as a bigger need than De Bruyne...I think KDB is very talented and would be a great signing but we could "make do" with what we have if KDB didn't happen but Yaya is slowing down, could be his last season and Pogba is someone we could build around for the next 5-10years....

De Bruyne would never just be a luxuary, he'd be our second best attacking midfielder only behind Silva and would certainly be prioritized over Sterling when building our lineup should we need to deploy a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 instead of the 4-2-3-1 for certain matches, over time he'll also slowly be taking over for Silva as he gets older. Having all three of Silva, De Bruyne and Sterling would be immense and shouldn't be a big problem, in fact it's a wonderful problem to have, between using different formations and rotating Yaya, Pogba and Fernandinho in the midfield all our superstars should get enough playing time.

No doubt the board has everything planned out in that regard, otherwise they wouldn't target both Sterling and De Bruyne.

I'm hoping there is still some gas left in Yaya's tank as last season may have been compromised by his dispute, but it's a concern for me. Maybe Pellegrini and the coaching staff are much more confident. If Toure is the same as last season, we'll struggle to improve on last season unless we can replace him in the transfer mkt, or Fernando improves

Do you not think we will play a 4-2-3-1 next year with Yaya and another within the two and then the plan is for De Bruyne Silva and Sterling to be the supporting cast behind Aguero?

From my understanding of De Bruyne he is pretty comfortable within any of the three positions and that flexibility is something we have often lacked.

De Bruyne is a quality young player - would love to see him in our attacking line up (probably in place of Nasri).

However now that it looks like we will be securing the services of Sterling, I think priority-wise we need to throw everything we can at Pogba before anyone else.

Sounds possible, but it would be very demanding on the midfield 2. Toure wasn't doing any work off the ball last season.

I'm not going to go on about it, but it bothers me a bit. We have come to be very reliant on him over the last few years
