Not 100%, the article just says that Begiristain "took advantage" of the fact that Wolfsburg, the player and his agent were in London. You cant take from the article that we will or will not sign De Bruyne. Just that the lack of a formal offer doesnt mean that we haven't had detailed talks. If there is common ground as far as the fee and wages are concerned, the transfer could go through relatively quickly.
I agree with earlier posts. Until Jovetic goes or Dzeko we won't see DeBruyne in.
Hoping all goes smoothly for Jovetic transfer.

If we kept our transfer talk on point all the time we may as well just check in once a week to these threads. Poor journalism yet again from a quality...hum,hum, paper - Everything changes when a player tells his club he wishes to move on. Allofs is not going to say "Oh yes we want to sell our best player." It's all about them getting as much money as they can. Be very surprised if this deal doesn't happen this week.
