De Bruyne?

According to the anonymus twitter guy, KDB should be done around the Stuttgart game. Lets see if he is ITK or KFA :-)

I'm still confident this will happen, lack of press about who are alternatives are would and should give confidence.

A simple scroll down Anonymous' timeline makes it clear he's a KFA, not to mention Sergio himself yesterday tweeted about being happy to join back up with the squad.

So nothing has happened because the club us dealing with the Aguero situation. Do we only have 1 person who deals with all player related matters at the club?

Why do you say that? I think he's going to sound that he wants to leave and then it's just a matter of agreeing a fee. Similar to Sterling transfer IMO less ugly.

Hi philjoneswho.....for whatever reason mate, it just seems like our whole transfer wondow has slowed down. I understand alot goes on behind closed doors, that we dont know about but some of these deals have seemed to move in the right direction for so long and then at that point where we'd expect the bid to go in.....we seem to hold back....maybe its just our style of negotiation but we dont seem to be hearing anything positive on any of our targets at present......a long way to go in transfer window so fingers crossed things start moving soon...

You're also not hearing much about alternatives, so take that as a positive

Hi TB appreciate the info...I feel that yes it has been a little like pulling teeth with a spoon but IMO I think it's only Pogba who I'm less confident in getting. I think by the time the Chelsea game comes around we'd have de Bruyne signed just a gut feeling (obviously I hope I'm right). Which with that squad I'd be happy (not ecstatic) to start the season. keep the players for the season and then big investment on a midfield player and full back next season. One ultimate gripe I do have is Pells chopping and changing the back line. When a player is consistently playing well he takes them out. Which I'm all for rotation but do it in appropriate games not in the tough/European matches. Excited for the season though :) hope you are too.

We didn't hear much from city between Sterling second bid and us signing him, we had 2 weeks of silence. Chill out and let city get on with it. These deals are not easy, we're trying to buy players that clubs would prefer to keep so it's a delicate operation. KDB wants to come so I expect it to happen.

Very well said it's a lot easier enquiring after players clubs don't want and/or have clauses in their contract. We're after the best players from teams which people are reluctant to let go.

Thanks for your reply.....I agree mate, I think the rotation of players in the back line was the cause of alot of our issues.... cheers mate!;)
